As part of my TCOM 334 Advanced Video Production course at Ball State I served as the cinematographer on the music video for "Years, Then Forever."  I had a great time experimenting with lighting, camera angles, and color grading to create the visual experience in this music video.  

We originally planned on creating a short film that our director, Ben Tison, was writing.  It wasn't until I met Ben Keaton, the pianist that we decided to film a music video instead.  I actually happen to live above Ben and often hear him playing piano through the floor.  I left a note on his door one afternoon complementing his playing & he left one on mine to thank me & give me his number in case he was ever playing while I was trying to sleep or study.

We started talking, & I brought up that I'm a videographer interested in music and I offered to film a music video for him if he was ever interested as a way to start putting work of that nature on my portfolio.  He & I eventually met to start planning one & that's when I introduced the idea to my TCOM group.
